Technical Drawing Course Project - IKEA Desk Lamp

This project involved creating a full assembly and detailed technical drawings of an IKEA desk lamp, focusing on technical drawing principles and CAD workflow.

Details

As part of the technical drawing course, we were required to model a complete mated mechanical assembly and its parts, several technical drawings, and an explosion/BOM drawing. I decided to model an articulating IKEA desk lamp because it was mechanically complex with two-bar linkages and a screw clamp, and had interesting sheet metal parts that I wanted to try modeling.
